Peterborough Network

The 17th May 2010 marks the inaugural RSA Peterborough event!

The RSA recently launched an exciting collaboration with Peterborough City Council, the Arts Council East and Opportunity Peterborough to develop the wide-ranging Citizen Power programme throughout the city. In Peterborough the RSA will be trialling projects designed to help citizens to participate more in their communities; to develop a stronger attachment to the city and neighbourhoods where they live; and tackle social problems in innovative ways.

The Network event is an opportunity for Fellows to meet informally and discuss personal interests, hear more about our work in Peterborough and explore possible future project ideas for the Citizen Power programme of work. The event is free but you will need to purchase a drink at the bar.

The event will take place in the bar area at the Great Northern Hotel in Peterborough.

The evening will be a relaxed and informal and a chance for Fellows to meet Fellows and other interesting people who are involved in our projects in Peterborough. You can stay for the duration or simply “dip” in for part of the evening.

If you would like to bring someone with you then please feel free to do so - whilst the initial invite is for Fellows, it is not exclusive! You are encouraged to bring a colleague or friend to the event.

This is the first in what will be a regular monthly event in Peterborough.
