Where are you from?
Peterborough
Website

Have you lived in Peterborough long?
Most of my life
What is your own vision for Peterborough?
We desperately need an Arts Centre but I'd love us to also have as many Arts Theatres, Cinemas, live music venues, Galleries, Cafés, alternative publications and creative websites as possible. There is a thriving Arts scene here but it doesn't currently have many spaces to hang out or display work.
One thing you'd like to change about the place?
I'd like to see less globalised chain stores and more local shops and community centres.
What areas of the Citizen Power project are you most interested in?
I'd like to be involved in creating media which will enable different artistic groups to link together and publicise their work.
What's your favourite place to eat in Peterborough?
Just discovered The Beehive - yum!
Favourite place to go?
The Hills and Holes (does that count as Peterborough?)
If a Martian came to Peterborough, what would you show him/her/it to explain what the place was about?
Lincoln Road
Tell us some more about yourself
I studied Visual Arts at Salford University and then went into magazine design and illustration. I work for The Royal Horticultural Society as Senior Designer of a monthly magazine called 'The Garden' which is based in Peterborough.
