What is your own vision for Peterborough?

I would like to see the city making the same impact as other cathedral cities, with a more vibrant cultural life and the opportunity to experience a richer community life than I have found to date.

One thing you'd like to change about the place?

I would love to see Peterborough having its own University and the societal developments that come from an active student body, particularly in the arts and music.

What areas of the Citizen Power project are you most interested in?

Really interested in the Social Media project. Am a enthusiastic environmentalist, so the sustainable citizenship project also takes my fancy.

What's your favourite place to eat in Peterborough?

Have yet to find an ideal.

Favourite place to go?

Thorpe Hall and the fields around it.

If a Martian came to Peterborough, what would you show him/her/it to explain what the place was about?

If a stranger came from another planet I doubt our language or cultural references would be understood. I would point to POSH, the Cathedral and Queensgate s the most obvious landmarks but the people are what makes a community.

Tell us some more about yourself

After one year in the City I would love to become more involved in community projects. I currently work in London but live here. I am involved in the Peterborough Male Voice Choir. I also would love to try out beekeeping, but have been unable to support the craft recently.
