The man with the golden deely-boppers.

Putting some of my children to bed I found a pair of deely-boppers in the wrong place.'Who's are these deely-boppers?' I asked.' I think they're mine' said my eldest. 'That's a good name for them, Daddy' she added.'That's what they're called' I said. 'They've always been called deely-boppers'...They've always been called deely-boppers since they were first invented, probably in the late 70s or early 80s. I'll look it up on google in a minute. I wondered to myself who had invented them and who…See More

Have you lived in Peterborough long?
Since 2006
One thing you'd like to change about the place?
Provide a dedicated car park with access to the railway station on the other side of the crescent bridge. I was told that 90% of station users arrive via the bridge.
What's your favourite place to eat in Peterborough?
The little sandwich shop in Westgate Arcade. Not Swizzels, but the other one near the jewellers.
If a Martian came to Peterborough, what would you show him/her/it to explain what the place was about?
Assuming he/she/it could understand me, and was of relatively humanoid dimensions, I would start with a tour of the cathedral and grounds.
Tell us some more about yourself
I live in the Deepings area to the North of the City. I am an active member of the Green Party living to the North of the City. I run 'Hydrostat' which is water and energy consultancy business.
