Have you lived in Peterborough long?

10 years

What is your own vision for Peterborough?

A truly sustainable city and able to demonstrate this in real life, tangible ways.

One thing you'd like to change about the place?

The lack of creative public spaces - galleries to inspire.

What areas of the Citizen Power project are you most interested in?

All are really exciting and I need to take a closer look but for now the reason I'm signing up it to get involved with the Peterborough project - this seems to take a holistic approach and I'm keen to see if and where I can get involved.

What's your favourite place to eat in Peterborough?

Hmmm, my place! Well - I'd say for a relaxed evening The Brewery Tap does good Thai food.

Favourite place to go?

In Peterborough? Central park on a sunny day with my husband, daughter and a picnic!

If a Martian came to Peterborough, what would you show him/her/it to explain what the place was about?

Hmmm tricky as it would depend on the picture I wanted to paint. If I was to look into the future it would be the sustainable living aspects: eco housing, good public transport, farmers markets, excellent open public spaces to inspire - sculpture - arts, great dining...the list is pretty long....

Tell us some more about yourself

I love what I do for a living - working within the design sector is exciting and running a sustainable business has been a life-long dream, I've been fortunate to work with some great people. The potential for creative thinking in contributing towards more sustainable working and living practices is exciting and I am lucky to have worked across both the design and environmental sector in this way. For these reasons I am keen to see how the project develops and delivers.
I'm also looking to get involved with the RSA to help keep me inspired and connected with current activities/projects/issues/people - to be part of such a great network.
